History:
Yuu was born as the oldest of two siblings. His family wasn't rich, yet they weren't poor either. His father, Blade, worked as a guard for the king and his mother, Kaira, was a maid. Leaving Yuu to care for his siblings most of the time growing up.
His father would train Yuu in his spare time. However, Blade's training was by far not easy. He constantly pushed Yuu past his limits. Kaira often begged for Blade to lighten up, but to no avail. Yuu was always tired after his father's training and covered with scrapes, scratches, and bruises.
One day at the age of 16, Yuu had to watch his siblings while their parents were at work. He was getting some food from the market for lunch when his sister disappeared from his side. He and his brother began to frantically search for her. They came to the edge of the village where they saw a group of thug trying to shove their sister in chains. Yuu order his brother to stay hidden where they were and went to rescue their sister. The group of 7 proved to much for Yuu to handle and beat him so badly he lost consciousness. Before he passed out, he managed to grab his sister's small, red, crystal necklace from one of the men.
When he finally came to, they were long gone. His brother was safe, coming out of hiding only after the group was no longer in site. The two sadly headed home to inform their parents of what had happened.
Blade was furious at Yuu. He struck out at him, even though the boy could barely stand. Yuu was banished from his home. Kaira was devastated at losing her youngest to thugs and begged Blade not to make her lose her oldest as well. He, however, refused to change his mind. Yuu limped out of the place he once called home. He left the village and nursed himself back to health. Ever since that day, he has been searching for his stolen sister and the group of thug that took her. He wears the crystal on his neck as a reminder that he can't give up on his search.
Years past and Yuu came across an injured foul. It took days for him to be able to gain the foul's trust as she was a wild animal. When Fayt was finally able to approach her he worked hard to fix her injures. He started to take care of her, even after she was fully healed. He named her, Epona. Epona has become his most trusted ally and goes everywhere with him.
In more recent years, Yuu was offered a sword that had the power of light, able to help protect others. It sounded like an excellent thing to him. He gladly took it. However, it wasn't as good as it sounded. Yuu came across a group of thieves trying to mug a small family. He gladly stepped in drawing the blade. A white light filled the blade. He easily took care of the thieves and freed the family. But after the fight, it changed him into his child form. The sword had a curse that activated when he used it for the first time. He immediately went back to the man that sold it to him. The man told him about the blade's curse. It was a powerful blade, but only when used to protect the life of another. Once used, the blade was cursed to the wielder that activated it. It transforms them into a young child only bringing their true body out when used to defend the life of another. Yuu asked how to break the curse however the man didn't know. To add to his problems, dark creatures invaded his world and thrust him out of it. Now he must find his sister and find a way to break this curse.
