Name: Sephiroth
Age: Unknown
Which game are you from: Final Fantasy VII
The tide could turn so fast to this degree[/font]
History:
Before Crisis/Crisis Core[/i]
Sephiroth’s birth is shrouded by mystery. He was the son of Hojo and Lucrecia Crescent, Professor Gast’s assistants who, was at the time, working on the Jenova Project. Hojo injected Jenova cells onto Lucrecia and to the fetus that would later become Sephiroth.
Since birth, Sephiroth was trained to be a super soldier, becoming the first and the best SOLDIER. Although the small genius was denied the name of his father, and the name of his mother was supposedly “Jenova”. They deceived him into thinking that she had died while giving birth to him. But ever since he began training, he felt like he was special somehow, he felt like his existence had to have a special purpose.
The boy trained day and night, becoming the pride and joy of SOLDIER; it appeared that Project Jenova was a success.
As Sephiroth continued to train and execute mission in the name of SOLDIER, he met two new friends, Angeal and Genesis. They caught his attention for some reason and from then on they became close friends, despite the fact that they saw themselves as rivals… The three wanted the spot of SOLDIER First class and were always sparring to see who the best of the three was. Sephiroth was obviously the one that emerged victorious, despite the other two’s persistence.
A slight friction started to surge between Sephiroth and Genesis.
Sephiroth was becoming famous worldwide for his strength and his role in the war against the Wutai, who persisted to deny being controlled by Shin-ra, revolting and fighting to maintain their independence. Shin-ra sought control over their land seeing that they were the only ones who weren’t under their domain and the area in which they resided proved to be the perfect place to build a Mako Reactor. Sephiroth really was the only one that was recognized for his skill in that war… People were shining a spotlight on him, not even considering Angeal and Genesis, who also participated in the war and without their help; Shin-ra would’ve surely failed.
Ever since then, his friendship with Genesis became more and more fragile with every step Sephiroth took.
Ever since then, the president of Shinra often relied on Sephiroth’s skills, calling him personally whenever a difficult mission surged. He was even in charge of protecting the president during the attack of the AVALANCHE in which he engaged their leader and even rescued Hojo from the AVALANCHE later on, when they attacked the Shinra HQ.
One day, during a little sparring match between him and his two friends, Genesis and Angeal, there was an incident that resulted in Genesis getting wounded by Sephiroth. Though it was not a normal wound, seeing that for some reason, Genesis could not heal himself. Sephiroth offered his blood for the transfusion, though he was cut off because they were not compatible and so Angeal had to be the one to save Genesis.
Later on, Sephiroth would learn that Genesis had abandoned his friends and Shinra, becoming a rogue agent and be targeted as a threat to the Shinra cooperation. This made Sephiroth the favourite operative to be assigned whenever a mission concerned Genesis presented itself, which made Sephiroth slightly uneasy.
Sephiroth also defected when, during a simple inspection on a Mako reactor at Nibelheim with Angeal’s puppy, Zack fair, and a few Shinra guards, he discovered a few things about himself that made him question everything he ever knew, even his own existence. His so called mother Jenova was actually a calamity that fell from the sky, he was an experiment and Genesis also did not help, aiding Sephiroth’s descent into madness even further by inciting and sowing the seed of discord as he indirectly called Sephiroth a monster.
Sephiroth would later on lay siege on Nibelheim, setting the town in flames before going for the reactor so he could reclaim his mother. There was an attempt to stop him, though Sephiroth proved to be a monster of an opponent, only getting defeated by a simple guard that had caught him off guard, impaling Sephiroth through the stomach and flinging him against the wall with the head of JENOVA, who he had previously severed it from its body.

The Nibelheim incident records and reports were sealed off by Shinra and excuses started being made in an attempt to isolate the incident and make it a secret so as not to raise any panic among the people. As they did so, Sephiroth began to study the lifestream, learning all of its secrets, special the ones regarding a powerful Black Materia that held great power within it, enabling it’s user to cast Meteor, the most powerful black magic spell there was. He eventually travelled to the Nothern Crater, the place where his “mother” landed and went into hibernation, crystallized in mako so as to heighten his powers even more. During the time he spent hibernating, he used his newly acquired influence over Jenova and used this to manipulate those with Jenova cells within them.
The mad scientist Hojo wanted to test the Jenova Reunion Theory so he started using the survivors of the Nibelheim accident, injecting into them Jenova cells. Later they would, like Hojo had predicted, attempt to reunite themselves with Sephiroth, travelling to the Nothern Crater to join him. He also manipulated Jenova’s remains and used them to release Cloud and the members of AVALANCHE that were being held captive and kill President Shinra.
Sephiroth would meet Cloud and his team and hint them of his plans several times, which at some point made them realize what he was planning and attempted to acquire the Black Materia before the villain could get ahold of it. Cloud was the first to get to the black material, though he was then controlled by Sephiroth when he tapped into the Jenova cells that inhabited his body and made him give up the black material to his clone, which after attempted to counter Aerith’s Holy, the only spell that could stop Meteor, by impaling her, though the Jenova/Sephiroth clone arrived too late and the spell had already been cast.
Back at the crater, Sephiroth was holding back Aerith’s Holy as Cloud and his friends were attempting to intercept his clone and take back the Black Materia. They were successful, though as they carried on inside the cavern, Sephiroth started tricking them using illusions, which would later aid him in manipulating Cloud so he would give him the Black Materia, which he did when Sephiroth revealed himself. He then cast Meteor on the planet and sensing danger, the WEAPONS were activated so Sephiroth had to take precautions and raised an energy barrier to protect himself from them. Cloud and his team were able to flee with the help of Rufus Shinra.
After being aided by Shinra, Cloud recovered from Sephiroth’s psychological assault and made plans to defeat him and using a Mako cannon, he was able to get inside the Crater once again, passing through the barrier. When Cloud and his team encountered Sephiroth once again, he was shaping himself into a more befitting form for a god, presenting himself to them in a larva-form first known as Bizzaro-Sephiroth.
Cloud’s party was victorious, though the battle had just begun. Sephiroth took on his ultimate form, becoming a true monster-like angelic being with seven wings. Though their strength knew no match and Sephiroth was defeated yet again, but he wasn’t going to give up that easily and attempted to take control of Cloud’s mind once again, only to be defeated as Cloud’s defences became more effective. Defeated yet again, Sephiroth fades into the lifestream and his plans foiled.
Advent Children[/u][/i]
With Sephiroth’s destruction, the world was able to prosper, though not entirely at peace. A plague called the Geostigma, afflicted the children across the land. It was discovered that that plague was actually Jenova’s consciousness that remained in the lifestream. Cloud was also affected by this disease.
Sephiroth’s will was too powerful to be destroyed, thus three beings crawled out of the lifestream, gaining forms and becoming the Remnants of Sephiroth; the task handed to them was the resurrection of Sephiroth in the name of “Mother”.
Eventually, Kadaj, the leader of the group was successful in obtaining the remains of Jenova and after absorbing her, Sephiroth was reborn and with a new and improved plan to accomplish his goal. After the ones infected with the Geostigma joined with the lifestream, they would corrupt it and thus, with the aid of Jenova’s cells, Sephiroth would be able to control the planet and use it to travel through out the universe to do exactly was his “Mother” did.
His plans, however, were foiled by Cloud once again, who defeated Sephiroth using that mysterious strength of his. Sephiroth fades away once again, Kadaj taking his place in the world a few seconds before he joined the lifestream.
Weapons:
Masamune: This gigantic katana, seven foot-long to be more precise, is Sephiroth’s weapon of choice and he is never seen fighting without it. He wields it with deadly accuracy and most even put into question if he is the only one that can wield it effectively and with little effort.
Magic:
Meteor: Sephiroth uses a lesser version of the ultimate black magic spell and showers the enemy with three medium sized meteors, which move at a relatively slow way and they are easily avoidable if his enemy is aware of them.
Stigma: Sephiroth summons three pillars of fire that erupt from the ground and circle him, protecting him from attacks and severely damaging his opponent should he come in contact with them.
Shadow Flare: Sephiroth casts six balls medium sized balls that surround the opponent, only then to converge on him and deal high damage. The Balls require a little effort to be destroyed and if timed correctly, his opponent can deflect them and send them at Sephiroth.

The One Winged Angel kneeled down, gasping for air after plunging his trustful Masamune onto the ground, his cat-like turquoise eyes scanning the area around him in hopes of finding something that could hint him as to where he was and what had happened. The last thing Sephiroth saw before being summoned to his current location, was seeing Cloud watching him from below, him fading away into the darkness after being defeated when Cloud used that mysterious strength that seemed to haunt Sephiroth every time they clashed. There were no other tricks, there were no other gimmicks, there was no way for Sephiroth to walk the planet once more seeing that his Remnants had been defeated, so how in name of Jenova was he breathing that instant?
After a few minutes, Sephiroth regained his composure, standing up and taking his sword out from the ground, slashing the air in a swift motion to see if it was damaged or anything. His sword remained pristine, sharp as ever and without even the slightest scar. A smirk displayed how pleased he was for his weapon being flawless as always, but then he returned to his normal and emotionless self as he continued to scan his surroundings.
Suddenly, a voice rang through out Sephiroth’s mind, it’s tone calm yet dark, echoing as it seemed to be addressing the One Winged Angel, I’m glad you are pleased. It was difficult to acquire you due to the depth in which you resided within the darkness…[/i], the voice said, Sephiroth’s eyes looking around to see if there was someone watching him. He wasn’t pleased with this little trick, yet in a tone calm and cold he replied to the voice, ”Who do I owe thanks for resurrecting me? And it would be wise not to treat me like an object… For your sake of course.”, he continued to look around, gripping his sword tight and hoping he could find the one behind this so as to have a little one on one with him.
The voice smirked, making Sephiroth grit his teeth slightly. Was he mocking the son of the calamity? Such disrespect would bring upon the wrath of the One Winged Angel upon whoever was mocking him.
And I’d advise you to threaten the one that brought you back into this world and the one that can send you back into darkness…[/i], it said, it’s tone dark, calm and with that special hint that made it look more like a threat then anything else.
Sephiroth smirked coldly and relax, gripping his sword in reverse and looking upwards as he replied, ”Very well… What do you want from me?... I assume I must repay you for the kindness you have bestowed me?”. The voice smirked back and continued, Indeed you must, though all in due time. As of now, you are my knight in the war to come, though at the moment I do not require any assistance from you. When I do however, I must insist that you comply, otherwise there are going to be some repercussions… Do I make myself clear?[/i]. Sephiroth nodded slightly as he spoke, though less than pleased at this, ”Crystal clear…”, the voice smirking once again and replied, Good… Now, wreak as much havoc as you like. Pillage as many villages as you wish… Kill as many people as you want, make the darkness’s presence known. And when the time comes, you will serve me well against those of the light. Now go! Bring forth torment and misery to those who stand in your way! Sephiroth, the One Winged Angel![/i]. The voice disappeared as quick as it had made his appearance, leaving Sephiroth’s mind who had now an amused, yet very faint smile on the corner of his flawless lips.
”So be it…”, he said in his usual calm and cold voice as he spread his black wing, the feather falling from it as he jumped upwards, only then to soar through the sky. He had returned and vengeance would be delivered upon those that had stood in his way in the past. They would all beg for mercy, yet receive none from the son of the calamity.
