History:
Rinoa is the daughter of Galbadia's Military Commander Fury Caraway and Julia Heartilly. Rinoa barely knew her mother since she was killed in a car accident, Rinoa only five years old. After that she grew apart from her father, hating him and not even speaking with him. It was like that until she turned seventeen. That was when she left home refusing to look back, joining a resistance team called The Forest Owls. Becoming their leader against the military and Galbadian forces also their government. Rinoa had also began a romantic relationship with Seifer, one of the SeeDS at Balamb Garden. As leader of The Forest Owls she goes to the party held at the garden, being invited by Seifer to convince The Headmaster to lend her assistance.
She then sees Squall in the crowd and asks him to dance with her. Rinoa then sees Squall again with Selphie and Zell when they comes to The Forest Owls base. They have a plan to kidnap Vinzer Deling but wind up capturing a fake. And then hearing that the real president is being held hostage at the TV station they rush over there. But Rinoa also learns the base was destroyed. She goes to pursue Seifer but is too late as he is taken by the Sorceress Edea. Thinking he is dead she opens up to the others about her relationship with him, also scolds Squall on his attitude towards his teammates.
They head to Deling to see her father, but gets locked in another room. She escapes and goes to tell Quistis of her plan but is soon left to her own devices. Rinoa takes it on her own to stop Edea herself. Offering the bangle to Edea, she is soon under a spell that renders her as a puppet and to be used as a sacrifice. Of course she is rescued and saved by Irvine and Squall, they fight Edea but Squall get's hurt and all are sent to D-District prison. They escape and stop the missiles from hitting Balamb, Rinoa feels like she is becoming a burden to the group but also tells Squall to trust in his friends more.
After Edea is defeated Rinoa becomes comatose, but she awakens under control of Ultimecia. The sorceress powers were passed onto her after Edea's defeat. Unknown of what is happening she unlocks Adel from her tomb, and is left to die in space. But is saved by Squall once more. They find the ship Ragnarok and defeat all the enemies inside it before taking control. The two embrace and have a heartfelt conversation, Squall opens up to her and tells her more about himself. She then tells him that he gives her the most comfort and happiness now. As soon as they arrive on Esthar she is seized and taken away to the Sorceress Memorial. Squall saves her and they embrace, but is frightened about becoming evil again and possessed. Squall becomes her Sorceress Knight.
Rinoa also says she had a nightmare where she couldn't find him. When they are at the orphanage they make a promise to meet at the flower field should they become separated. After working with Esthar officials, including Laguna they infiltrate Lunatic Pandora. Seeing Seifer alive and then being fused with Adel, she is saved once more but is possessed once again. Rinoa and Ultimecia are sent back so that Ultimecia can cast Time Compression. That's when the rest of the group comes in at Ultimecia's Castle. After Ultimecia is defeated, Rinoa appears in the flower field but can't find Squall anywhere. Using her sorceress powers she finds him in a void on the brink of death, she brings him back with her to the flower field. A party is held at Balamb after, and her and Squall share a kiss on the balcony under the moonlight.

Rinoa uses magic from draw points around various places she visits. But she would rarely use them since she has her blaster edge.

She summons her dog Angelo to help her in battle.
